My name is Cindy Ly and I am a visual designer. I graduated with a BFA in Communication Design from Texas State University. I would like to use my skills as a designer to help brands tell their stories.

I’ve always been into the arts since I was little. I loved drawing and creative writing, but wasn’t sure what sort of career I would have until I was in high school. In high school, I joined a program called Code2College where I learned the basics of coding. I met a mentor from that program who told me about how she got into coding. She was originally a graphic designer before she pivoted to doing UI/UX. I grew an interest in graphic design and it became really apparent that design was more appealing to me. I enjoyed making wireframes in Microsoft PowerPoint and picking out the color palette at my summer internship with Code2College much more than actually coding. Now I am focusing on branding and identity as a visual designer.

When I’m not designing, I’m reading comics, watching anime and foreign shows, and playing video games. I am bilingual, know English and Vietnamese, and sometimes I dabble in learning other languages for fun.

The basic concept of this family is not only to make crisp, sharp and stronbut also to be legible and readable even on small size screen.
